Fermat

Fermat

Interactive 2D/3D graphics generator for mathematical functions. Through a dedicated keyboard for mathematical notation, it is possible to insert functions of one or two variables in a simple and intuitive way.

Application: Starting from the 8th grade of middle school’s science, math and physics curriculum. It can also be used in higher education courses that include Differential and Integral Calculus and/or Statistics in its curriculum. The indicated grade may vary according to the proposed curriculum.

Features

R

Generation of interactive 2D/3D graphics from mathematical functions of one or two variables

R

Multiple functions can be viewed simultaneously

R

Virtual keyboard dedicated to mathematical notation, which includes all mathematical symbols necessary for the inclusion of roots, powers and fractions

R

The numerical coefficients of the function can be changed by dragging the mouse over them. Modification of the function graph occurs in real time

R

The functions already created can be combined to create composite functions

R

By clicking on a certain point of the graphic you can get the values of its coordinates

R

Each saved project can hold numerous functions

R

It allows the individual definition of the domains of each function, in addition to the resolution and color of each of the generated graphics

R

Free navigation through the 2D/3D scene. In the case of the 2-variable functions (3D), it is possible to observe the graphics from any viewpoint
